More than 75 million Americans, including the baby boomer generation, and many reached an age where health care has become a major concern. It is generally born as the generation born between 1946 and 1964, although many who were born before or after a few years to link themselves with the name. Born population represents the last second world war inevitable explosion and aging has made the world more than ever statistically.
Boomers oldest child is already in the sixties and the health care industry has begun to feel the effects of age. Saw the emergence of the baby boomer generation is unprecedented growth for hospitals and clinics in the period between 1950 and 1965. Estimated that the current number of care facilities for the elderly, which is much less than the number of existing hospitals and clinics, will not be enough to deal with a large number of aging baby boomers. In addition, boomers are more likely to get medical care from the previous generation. Where there are often parents avoid going to the doctor, born of extreme medical care for their health and happiness.
The final result of this aging generation on the health care industry is the creation of several new jobs out of necessity. Department of Labor estimates that the health care industry that suffer from this growth is much higher than average when compared with all other industries over the next two decades. This can be attributed directly to the sheer numbers of this aging generation and their outlook on medical care. In fact, it's quite possible that there may be a shortage of health workers in the very near future.
Often cause a shortage of staff wages to rise, which seems likely fate for many health care positions. The only time tell if labor supply is able to meet the requirements imposed on the health care industry by the baby boomer generation.
